November, 2008 - Gerry Matthews completed the sale of 61 Pomeroy Avenue, Meriden, CT.  The 34,000 square foot theater complex and eight-acre parcel was purchased, for $3,625,000.00, by Casle Corp., who will convert the building into medical space and add two smaller buildings to the site.  Midstate Medical Center is set to lease a portion of the new facility upon completion of renovations next year.  Gerry Matthews represented the Seller, Pomeroy Enterprises LLC and William Mogensen of Mogy & Associates represented Casle Corp.

November, 2008 - Gerry Matthews represented the Seller, Leonard and Elizabeth Mecca, in the sale of 400 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, CT.  The 1,200 square foot building situated on .26 acres was purchased for $211,000.00 by James Cosgrove.  Fercodini Properties represented the Buyer.

November, 2008 - Gerry Matthews completed the sale of 797 Lakewood Road, Waterbury, CT.  The 5,300 square foot building owned by 771 Properties, LLC. was sold for $525,000.00 to OSJ of Waterbury, LLC.  Gerry Matthews represented both the Buyer and Seller in this transaction.

November, 2008 - Gerry Matthews completed the sale of 1189 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, CT.  the 1,428 SF restaurant/bar with 3.29 acres sold for $280,000.00.  Coach Scully's Sport Bar had been a popular watering hole in Wolcott for over 10 years.  Gerry Matthews represented both the Seller and Buyer in this transaction.

October, 2008 - Nick Longo of Matthews Commercial and Moataz Ghounem of Nationwide Houses recently completed the sale of 91 South Leonard St, Waterbury.  The property consists of a 25,000 SF commercial building on .75 acres of land.  The property was purchased by John Sweeney for $220,710.  Moataz Ghounem represented the Buyer and Nick Longo represented the Seller, A.J. Storage, LLC.

October, 2008 - Nick Longo and David Theroux of Drubner Commercial recently completed the sale of 1127 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT.  The property consists of a 4,200 square foot commercial building on .31 acres of land.  The property was purchased by 1127 West Main Street LLC.  David Theroux represented the seller, Greg Wright and Nick Longo represented the buyer.

October, 2008 - Nick Longo of Matthews Commercial Properties and Scott Bayne of C-21 Baymar Realty completed the sale of 11 Harrison Street, Bristol, CT.  The 1,346 square foot office building and .07 acres of land was purchased  by SAB Construction Mortgage, LLC.  Scott Bayne represented the Buyer and Nick Longo represented the Seller.

August, 2008 - Brian Godin recently completed a long term Lease for property located at 627 Watertown Avenue, Waterbury, CT.  The new tenant, Apolonia Auto Sales, will be opening in October.  Brian represented bothparties in this transaction.

August, 2008 - Charles "Chuck" Giorgio completed the sale of MJM Self Storage located at 240 Blacks Road, Cheshire, CT.  The 426 unit self storage facility situated on 2.8 acres of land was built in 2002.  Units range in size from 5x5 to 10x25.  135 of the units are climated controalled.  The entire facility is video monitored and alarmed.  MJM Self Storage was purchased for $2,600,000 by AZA Properties LLC.

July, 2008 - Gerry Matthews represented both parties in the sale of 771 Lakewood Road, Waterbury, CT.  The 27,000 square foot building had been home to the former RollerMagic Roller Skating Rink and several small retail stores.  The property was sold by 771 Properties LLC for $900,000.00.  The property was purchased by Ocean State Jobbers , parent of Ocean State Job lot who will be opening a new retail store in late September or early October.

June, 2008 - Ed Godin completed the leasing of 12,024 SF at 756 Derby Avenue, Seymour, CT.  The building had previously been occupied by Collins Paper Box who moved their operations to Oxford.  New England Cap Company entered into a five year lease.  Ed Godin represented both parties in this transaction.

May, 2008 - Brian Godin represented both parties in the sale of 1219 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT.  The 1,550 SF retail/professional building is located just off I-84.  J. R. Laliberte, Jr. purchased the building for investment purposes.  The building which was owned by Alan Tracey sold for $250,000.

March, 2008 - Ed Godin represented both parties in the sale of an 11,300 square foot facility at 146 Huntingdon Avenue, Waterbury, CT.  The building just off of Route 8 is situated on 4.39 acres of land and sold for $725,000.  The Buyer, JRD Properties, is a local real estate investor.  The facility will be primarily occupied by All-Star Transporation, a regional provider of transportation for school systems.

March, 2008 - Brian Godin represented both parties in the sale of 135 East Main Street, Bristol, CT.  The 5 bay car wash is located on busy Route 72.  The car wash features 3 self serve and 2 automatic bays.  The building and .96 acres of land sold for $450,000.00.

February, 2008 - Ed Godin represented both parties in the sale of a 12,519 square foot high end industrial/flex condo facility at 3 Morse Road, Oxford, CT.  The new building, situated on 2.5 acres, in the Oxford Industrial Park sold for $1,200,000.00.  The Buyer, Xal/Xenon Architectural Lighting, an Austrian company, will be establishing a manufacturing operation to accommodate their U.S. business.

February, 2008 - Nick Longo represented the Buyers, Lagassee Properties, LLC in the purchase of 140 Homer Street, Waterbury, CT.  The 12,000 square foot single story commercial building located on an acre of land was purchased from B&B Enterprises for $440,000.00.  Calabrese Agency represented the Seller.  

January, 2008 - Gerry Matthews completed the sale of "Broadcast Center" located at 101-115 South Main Street, Waterbury, CT.  Most recently the building had been occupied by the Department of Public Works and the Department of Mental Health for the State of Connecticut.  The 22,900 square foot building consisting of office and retail space, owned by 101-115 South Main Partnership, was sold for $977,000.00 to Reda B. Properties, Inc.  The new owners plan on occupying a portion of the building for their offices and will lease the balance.

January, 2008 - Brian Godin and Ed Godin recently completed the sale of 104 Waterbury Road, Prospect, CT.  14 Wood Court, Terryville, CT.  Brian Godin represented the Buyer, Antonio and Carmelina DiPietro and Ed Godin represented the Seller, Trident Associates.  The 2,500 SF commercial building and 960 SF single family house situated on .81 acres sold for $452,000.00.

January, 2008 - Brian Godin recently completed the sale of 14 Wood Court, Terryville, CT.  Brian Godin represented both the Seller, James Murdock and the Buyer, Mark Carroll in this transaction.  Mr. Carroll purchased the well mainteained investment property for $272,000.00

January, 2008 - Nick Longo completed the sale of 465 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, CT.  The 5,000 SF commercial building on .57 acres was purchaed for $525,000 by David Donnelly.  Mr. Donnelly purchased the building from Wolcott Road Investments LLC for business purposes.  Nick Longo represented the Seller and the Buyer.

December, 2007 - Brian Godin and Ed Godin completed a long term lease for the property located at 1909 Peck Lane, Cheshire, CT.  The property consists of a 3,900 s/f industrial building situated on .58 acres of land.  Brian and Ed represented both the Owner, Mark Pawlicki and the Tenant, Northeast Utilities/CL&P.

December, 2007 - Gerry Matthews and Ed Godin brokered the sale of 987 Woodtick Road, Waterbury, CT.

Gerry Matthews represented the Seller which was handled by the Trust Department of Fleet National Bank and Ed Godin represented the Buyer, Z Realty LLC. Tthe 21,000 square foot building and 4.92 acres of land sold for $600,000.00.

Z Realty LLC will utilitize a portion of the premises for one of their businesses, Gary's Auto Parts.  The remainder of the multi-tenant industrial building will be maintained as rental property.

December, 2007 - Gerry Matthews recently represented both the buyer and seller in the sale of a 5 acre commercially zoned parcel of land situated between Schraffts Drive and I-84.  The 5 acres owned by the Gunterman Family was sold to JOROMICH, LLC for $640,000.00.  JOROMICH purchased the land for speculative and investment purposed based on the lands commercial zoning and close proximity to I-84.

November, 2007 - Ed Godin, Jr. has recently represented both parties in the sale of a 13,000 SF warehouse facility at 2 alliance circle in Beacon Falls, CT.  The newer building was situated on 3 acres and included an additional adjoining parcel of land in the Pines Bridge Industrial Park and sold for $1,450,000.  The Buyer, Total Energy Corporation, is based in New York and will utilize a portion of the property for their operations.

October, 2007 - Ed Godin recently represented both the buyer and seller in the sale of the 23,000 square foot warehouse facility at 103 Willenbrock Road.  The building, located on 3.75 acres in the Oxford industrial park area, sold for $1,760,000.  The property was put under contract within days of being on the market.  The buyer, Woodbury Supply Company, is expanding and relocating a portion of its operations to accommodate its continued growth.

October, 2007 - Ed Godin brokered the sale of 594 Pepper Street in Monroe, CT.  The high quality 47,000 SF facility is situated on 9.3 acres just off Route 25.  Church Hill Classics purchased the facility for $3,600,000.  Church Hill Classics specialize in high quality diploma, certificate and award frames as well as full service graphics and print design. 

October, 2007 - Ed Godin represented the Seller and Cathy Paret represented the Buyer, a Connecticut based investor, in the sale of 73 Waterbury Road, Prospect, CT.  The newer 11,000 SF retail plaza, which is anchored by a CVS Pharmacy, sold for $2,625,000.

September, 2007 - Chuck Giorgio, Broker Associate, has sold Farmingbury Center, a 11,724 square foot, fully leased, retail center located at 1585 Meriden Road, Wolcott, CT.  The property was sold to out-of-state investors for $1.348 million.

September, 2007  - While the residential market has seemed to slow down in the area, retail centers continue to sell.  Gerry D. Matthews brokered the sale of MidPoint Plaza, located at 1457 Meriden Road, Wolcott, CT.  The fully leased, 14,000 square foot plaza and 5 acres of land sold for $1.375 million to an out-of-state investor.

August, 2007 - Ed Godin recently represented The Davidson Company in their lease of 60,000 square feet of high bay distribution space at 25 Research Parkway in Wallingford, CT.  The Davidson Company is family owned and a leading regional distributor of specialty food items.

July, 2007 - Ed Godin recently represented a prominent Waterbury based medical group, specializing in womens healthcare, in the purchase of a 10,000 square foot office building at 10 Main Street South in Southbury, CT.  The group has begun a complete rehabilitation and upgrade of the property and will occupy a portion for a satellite office.  The rare freestanding facility is on nearly one acre of land at the corner of Route 6 at Exit 15 of I-84.  The property sold for $1,300,000. 

July, 2007 - Brian Godin completed the sale of 163 Main Street, Terryville, CT a long time established location on busy Route 6.  The .48 acre parcel and 2 buildings sold for $360,000.00.  The front building is 4,800 s/f and the rear building is 2,200 s/f.  Brian Godin represented the Seller, Silvio Cavicohio.

July, 2007 - Gerry Matthews and Nick Longo completed the sale of two acres of commercial land on Mulloy Road in Waterbury.  The parcel was purchased for $290,000 by M&T Real Estate LLC from Francis and Kristine Perugini.  Gerry Matthews represented the Sellers and Nick Longo represented the Buyer.

June, 2007 - Ed Godin represented both parties in the sale of the 25,000 SF industrial facility located at 341 Christian Street in Oxford, CT.  The purchaser was Natural Sourcing who specializes in the procurement and supply of superior quality organic and conventional oils, butters, essential oils, extracts, and other specialty cosmeceutical ingredients.  Natural Souring has relocated from New York in 2004 and occupied the facility under a lease with an option to purchase agreement.  The building and 2.5 acres sold for $1,261,000.

June, 2007 - Gerry Matthews and Ed Godin brokered the sale of 454 and 462 Wolcott Street, Waterbury, CT.  The 2 buildings, totaling 6,641 s/f and 0.4 acres of land sold for $350,000.00.  The buildings were purchased by Rosa Development Group for investment purposes.  The buildings are being renovated and available for lease.  Ed Godin has been named as the exclusive leasing agent for the property.

February/March, 2007 - Gerry Matthews recently completed two long term leasing transactions at Middlebury Edge located at 1625 Straits Turnpike, Middlebury, CT.  Magdy Mikaiel, DDS has leased approximately 2,000 s/f and Naugatuck Valley Cardiovascular Associates, LLC has lease approximtely 3,400 s/f.  Gerry represented all parites in each of these transactions.

February, 2007 - Gerry Matthews and Ed Godin have leased 25,000 s/f of office and industrial space at the Middlebury Technology Center located at 199 Park Road Extension in Middlebury, CT.  Velocity Print Communications is expanding their operations and moving from New Wood Road in Watertown, CT into the larger facility.  The Middlebury Technology Center, a 278,000 s/f complex, is the former Timex World Headquaraters which was purchased in 2005 by Midex, LLC, who is in the process of remodeling and repositioning the facility into a business park environment.

February, 2007 - Gerry Matthews and Ed Godin brokered the sale of 514 Long Hill Road, Waterbury, CT.  The 10,000 s/f building and .80 acres of land was sold for $275,000.  The property, owned by Manual and Fernando Pires, Oxford, CT. was sold to David Torres.

Sunbeam Plaza located at 2457 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT.  Sunbeam Plaza is a four-building, 65,915 s/f commercial place situated on 8.4 acres.  Sunbeam Partners LLC sold the property for $6,500,000 to Big Apple Capital, LLC.  Tenants include Wild Strawberry; Quest Diagnostics; Ami's Crispy Bagel; Cingular Wireless; Allied Medical Associates; Curves for Women, and Laser Planets. 

February, 2006 - Gerry Matthews and Nick Longo completed the sale of 20 Potuccos Ring Road, Wolcott, CT.  The 10,000 s/f retail plaza was purchased for $1,025,000.00 by RNL LLC.  RNL purchased the plaza from All American Development for investment purposes.  Gerry Matthews represented the Seller and Nick Longo represented the Buyer.

January, 2006 - Ed Godin, Jr. sold the former William Gordon & Sons heavy equipment repair facility for $700,000 to M&O Construction company.  The Buyer will utilize the 13,000 s/f facility on 4 acres for their local business operations.

January, 2006 - Gerry Matthews brokered the sale of

Mallview Plaza, 117 Sharon Road, Waterbury, CT.  Mallview Plaza a three-building, 66,000 s/f commercial complex on 9 acres, which was built in 1989 and expanded in 1999, was sold by Holiday Development LLC.  Tenants include Holiday Cinemas a 10-screen theater; a Naugatuck Savings Bank branch, Weight Watches; Dynamite Academy of Gymnastics; the CT Academy of Performing Arts; Skye Cable, in addition to two restaurants, a beauty salon, and a medical user.  The property was purchased for $6,000,000 by GNR Realty LLC, a Manhattan based real estate agency.

January, 2006 - Ed Godin brokered the sale of

55 DiNuzio Road, Watertown, CT.  JRD Properties purchased the 5,200 square foot building and 4.10 acres of land for $665,000.00 for investment purposes and to accomodate the continued growth and expansion of Universal Welding and Truck Body, which is one of their companies.  The property was purchased from the Butkevich Family, who owns and operated Screen-Tech at this location.  The Screen-Tech operation recently moved to new headquaraters located at 230 Ella Grasso Avenue in Torrington.
