Gerry Matthews specialized in the construction, sales and leasing of industrial and commercial properties for 20 years.  Prior to opening his own firm he had been associated with Connecticut Factors, Inc. of Waterbury, CT, where he was responsible for the management, construction and renovations of a multitude of office, industrial and residential buildings throughout the region.  He successfully worked as a commercial real estate sales agent in the Greater Waterbury area responsible for leasing and selling several hundred commercial and industrial properties.  For seven years he served as Real Estate Commissioner for the State of Connecticut.  He is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a member of the Naugatuck Valley Community College Advisory Council and a member of the Town of Middlebury Architectural Review and Economic Commission.

The firm, Matthews Commercial Properties, has again been named among Westchester/Southern Connecticut's Top Brokerage Firms based on transaction volume.  Gerry Matthews has for the fifth consecutive year been named among Westchester/Southern Connecticut's Power Brokers  for leasing activity based on his overall leasing transaction volume for 2007.

Ed Godin, a Partner and licensed broker, has over 15 years of full time industrial and commercial real estate experience.  Ed is knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial real estate, his specialty being the sale and leasing of industrial properties.  Throughout his career he has assisted hundreds of companies and individuals with their real estate requirements.  Ed resides in Watertown with his wife and three sons. He is an active member of the Watertown Golf Club and is involved with numerous local economic development groups.
